Bharat: Here's how the makers recreated Pakistan and Wagah Border for Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's film

On November 15, 2018, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif shared the first look of their upcoming film Bharat. In the still, both the stars can be seen standing near the Wagah Border facing towards India and it's a beautiful sight, indeed. Salman and Katrina have been shooting for Bharat in Chandigarh and looks like they have shot for an intense sequence. Salman returned to Mumbai yesterday, while Katrina is continuing with the shoot. 

Talking about the still, the makers of Bharat recreated Wagah Border for the sequence. We got our hands on an Instagram post wherein with a series of photos, it is shown how they recreated the iconic place in the most perfect way for Bharat. The Instagram user captioned the post stating, "#Have a glimpse of #Bharat movie set as they have created #Pakistan in #Ballowal village of Ludhiana#bollywood shooting of this movie is undergoing in Ludhiana village from past few days and will continue till November end #Salmankhan #katrinakaif are in lead roles".

Talking about Bharat, the film is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and it marks the reunion of Tiger Zinda Hai trio. The film has been extensively shot in Mumbai, Malta, Abu Dhabi, Uttar Pradesh and now Chandigarh. The film also stars Disha Patani as Salman's sister and a trapeze artist, Sunil Grover, Tabu, Meiyang Chang, Jackie Shroff among others. Bharat will hit the screens during the Eid weekend next year.

The film is based on a South Korean film titled Ode to My Father.
