Beyond The Clouds: Ishaan Khatter and Malavika Mohanan attend the launch of the song Chotte Motor Chalu

Ishaan Khatter and Malavika Mohanan will be seen in Majid Majidi’s film Beyond the Clouds. Ishaan and Malavika play Amir and Tara in the film who are separated by circumstances. The film deals with how they come to understand life and the importance of human bonds in life. 

The two were today clicked at the launch of the new song from their film, titled, Chotte Motor Chala. Ishaan looked handsome in a black tee and denim. Malavika also opted for a black tee which she teamed with white denim and sneakers. The debutant was also seen dancing his heart out at the song launch. 

Ishaan's mother Neelima Azeem was also present at the event.

Talking about the film, Ishaan told a leading daily, ''Perhaps a lot of people don't have the good fortune of getting a part that's challenging. Two things happen of you start with a  film that's layered and complex - you might choke and sink, or you'll grow out of it. Somehow, I didn't feel fear because I didn't choose this part, it chose me. I wasn't in a position to choose a Majid Majidi film.''

In an earlier interview, Malavika had talked about how she bagged the film. “Last year, when I was out having dinner with my friend, I got a call from Honey Trehan (the casting director of Beyond The Clouds) asking me to urgently send over some pictures to him. But while doing the look test, I was hopeful of bagging this much-coveted role. I’m a huge fan of Majidi sir and have grown up watching his films. A few days later, I got a confirmation call from the makers,” she had said.
