Beauty in Black: Deepika Padukone stuns in an organza saree at the 25th anniversary celebrations of Zee

Deepika Padukone attended the 25^th anniversary celebrations of a media house. She upped the glam quotient of the red-carpet as she attended the bash. The who’s who of Bollywood was seen at the do – Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut and others were clicked. Stars were at their fashionable best on the red-carpet.

Deepika Padukone donned an embellished black saree from designer Sabyasachi. Deepika attended the Umang Police Show before arriving for the Zee bash. She completed her look with statement earrings and looked spectacular.

Deepika’s upcoming film, Padmaavat will release on 25th January. She tweeted today, “Get ready to witness the epic tale #Padmaavat on 25th January 2018, in theatres near you!Now also in 3D, Imax 3D, Tamil & Telugu! @filmPadmaavat @RanveerOfficial @shahidkapoor.”

The film has been mired in controversies and Deepika has been threatened with physical harm by many groups. She had said, “The only people we are answerable to is the censor board, and I know and I believe that nothing can stop the release of this film.”

About the film she had said in an earlier interview, “It is my own special moment as an actor. I cannot say much about the moments in the film. But whatever little that we are seeing is for me some of the most memorable moments of my life on a film set. In my opinion, Padmavati, especially in 3D will be an experience worth savouring. It is much more than just a film.”
