Batti Gul Meter Chalu: Shahid Kapoor, Yami Gautam and Shree Narayan Singh caught in action on the sets

Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam will be seen together in director Shree Narayan Singh's film titled Batti Gul Meter Chalu. The team has shot for the film earlier in several parts of Uttarakhand. The actors recently finished the shoot in Mumbai.

In the film, Shahid Kapoor and Yami Gautam will play the role of lawyers.

Today, the Kaabil actor took to her Instagram page to share a BTS picture. In the photo, the director Shree Narayan Singh, Shahid and Yami are looking into the camera. It looks like a photo that was clicked after shooting a scene.

Recently, Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor wrapped up the shooting of a dance number, Hard Hard for the film. The song is choreographed by Ganesh Acharya.

Shraddha has completed her part of the shoot and currently enjoying a vacation with her family.

This is the second time Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor have teamed up together for a film. They earlier worked together in Vishal Bhardwaj's Haider (2014).

Meanwhile, Batti Gul Meter Chalu is based on electricity issues in India. the film is slated to release on August 31, 2018.

After Batti, Shahid Kapoor will start shooting for Telugu film Arjun Reddy's Hindi remake. He will be seen alongside Student of the Year 2's Tara Sutaria in the film.
