Shahid Kapoor has wrapped up the first schedule of his next film, Shree Narayan Singh’s Batti Gul Meter Chalu. The handsome actor will be seen in the role of a lawyer in the film that deals with the issue of power theft. Yami Gautam and Shraddha Kapoor are also a part of the film. Shahid shot for the first schedule with Shraddha in Uttarakhand.

Shahid has been busy with the film’s shoot since the last couple of days and has been stationed in Tehri. He shared snippets and photos from the film’s sets and kept his fans updated. With the wrap of the first schedule of the film, Shahid has taken off for a short break. Shahid will be in Delhi for a couple of days, before he leaves to attend a satsang in Beas. With his in-laws and Mira, the family will then head to Beas, near Amritsar to ring in his 37th birthday.
A source had informed a leading daily, “Shahid and Mira missed Valentine’s Day and the actor wanted to keep up with the annual tradition of celebrating birthdays with satsangs and a visit to Beas.“It’s freezing in Uttarakhand at the moment and Mira and Misha are heading home to Delhi. Shahid will be flying to the Capital first, after which the family will travel to Beas together.”
