Batti Gul Meter Chalu: Put on your dancing shoes as Shahid Kapoor's Gold Tamba song will be out on THIS day

Last week, Shahid Kapoor launched the trailer of his upcoming film Batti Gul Meter Chalu. The film also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Yami Gautam and Divyendu Sharma. The film is directed by Shree Narayan Singh and just like his last film Toilet: Ek Anokhi Prem Katha, Batti Gul is also based on a social issue. The film depicts the problem of electricity in small towns and villages in India and the huge, unexpected electricity bills they have to pay. The trailer has all the elements - comedy, romance, emotions and drama. 

In the trailer, we got to hear some bits of the songs from the film; one is the title track and another is Gold Tamba. Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor are seen dancing together on the quirky track Gold Tamba. Well, this song will be out in 2 days, i.e. on August 17, 2018. A still from the song was shared by the makers today in which Shahid looks happy and in a dancing mood. We can't wait to watch this foot-tapping song Gold Tamba from Batti Gul Meter Chalu.

The film is shot in Uttarakhand's Tehri city and for the film, both Shahid and Shraddha learned the Garhwali language. Shahid and Yami will play the role of lawyers in the film.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Shree Narayan Singh, Nitin Chandrachud, Kusum Arora and Nishant Pitti, the film is slated to release on September 21, 2018.
