Arjun Rampal attends the screening of Paltan with daughters Mahikaa and Myra Rampal

Arjun Rampal’s next film, Paltan will release on September 7, 2018. The war film has been directed by J. P. Dutta and is based on the 1967 Nathu La military clash between India and China. The film stars Luv Sinha, Arjun Rampal, Dipika Kakar, Gurmeet Chaudhary and Siddhant Kapoor. J P Dutta has returned to direction after 12 years with this film. A special screening was organized by the makers of the film in Mumbai today and lead actor Arjun Rampal arrived with his daughters Mahikaa and Myra Rampal.

Arjun Rampal posed for photos with his daughters and their friends. In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Arjun had said that his daughters are inclined towards making a career in the film industry. But, he has encouraged them to complete their education first. He had also said in an earlier interview that he has told his daughters that acting is not as glamourous as it looks. Mahikaa and Myra attended the screening of their father’s film with their friends.

Arjun Rampal and Mehr Jessia announced their separation recently after 20 years of marriage. They shared a joint statement with their fans that they would like to go on different journeys in life. A part of the statement read, “We are a family, our love for each other is forever intact and we shall always be there for one another and most importantly, for our children Mahikaa and Myra. We would therefore appreciate our privacy through this time. Thank all for their support. Relationships can end, but love lives on.”
