Arjun Patiala First Look: Diljit Dosanjh, Kriti Sanon and Varun Sharma take us on a laughter ride
The first look of Arjun Patiala starring Diljit Dosanjh, Kriti Sanon and Varun Sharma is out and it promises to be a laughter ride. Directed by Rohit Jugraj, Arjun Patiala is slated to release on September 13, 2018.
Diljit Dosanjh and Kriti Sanon are paired opposite each other for the first time in Dinesh Vijan's Arjun Patiala. The comic caper is set in Punjab and is being helmed by Rohit Jugraj. While Diljit plays a police officer, Kriti plays a scoop-hungry crime reporter with a TV channel
The first look of the movie is out and it will leave you intrigued as we get a fresh new pairing with Diljit and Kriti. Joining the pair will be Varun Sharma, who will be Diljit's sidekick in the film.
In the photo, Diljit and Varun and decked in police officers' uniforms while Kriti looks like a patakha in a baby pink kurta with red palazzo pants and a denim jacket while pointing a gun to her head with a wink on her face.

Meanwhile, talking about Diljit's character in Arjun Patiala, Dinesh said, "Diljit will be seen in the uniform but very different to his avatar in his first Hindi film outing, Udta Punjab, who is out to bust a drug cartel. This policewallah is a laugh-a-minute character with a swagger that is all Diljit who will have you rolling with his quirky sense of humour which he has trademarked back home."
"The Rohit Jugraj-directed laugh riot offers plenty of action and dollops of bubble-gum romance. We believe in doing something different every time, and since we have never attempted an out-and-out comedy before, we decided to experiment with one which is more situational than slapstick. If this film works, we would be happy to spin a franchise with Arjun, Onida and Ritu returning as the principal players. We already have an idea for Part 2 and like Golmaal and Fukrey, Arjun will be back with a Patiala peg every couple of years," Dinesh added.
Arjun Patiala is slated to release on September 13, 2018.
