Arjun Patiala: Diljit Dosanjh starts shooting; Kriti Sanon becomes the assistant director

Kriti Sanon and Diljit Dosanjh will be seen together in the film Arjun Patiala. The duo is currently in Chandigarh to shoot for the film.

Arjun Patiala is a slice-of-life comedy and is about the height difference between a couple. The fact that the woman is taller than the man in the relationship will for the crux of the movie with humour elements in it. 

While Kriti's character is a journalist, Diljit plays a small-town guy from Punjab. The story revolves around their love story.

Today, Diljit shared a picture on his Twitter page from the set as they have begun shooting for the film. In the photo, Kriti is holding a clapboard.

Diljit is seen in his cop avatar in whereas Kriti looks pretty in a pink top and blue jeans.

Even Kriti shared the same picture and mentioned that she has nothing to shoot on the first day. She captioned the picture, "No shoot for me on Day1 of #ArjunPatiala !! So what.. they had a new AD on set!

Recently, in an interview with a leading news agency, Kriti spoke about Arjun Patiala and said, "Arjun Patiala - Larger Than Life is a little in the comedy space, and will make you smile, laugh and crack up. I am excited because I am working with Diljit for the first time and he is a fabulous actor."

Arjun Patiala is slated to release on September 13, 2018.
