Talking about the first scene, producer Dinesh Vijan stated, "Arjun Patiala (larger than life) is a comic franchise. Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Sharma and Kriti Sanon have a fantastic comic timing. Diljit was in top form on day one and the scene turned out even more hilarious than on paper. The whole unit was in splits."
The film is directed by Rohit Jugraj and is set to hit the screens on September 13, 2018.
After playing a cop in Udta Punjab and Jatt and Juliet, this is the third time we will see him in this avatar.
Producers Bhushan Kumar and Dinesh Vijan will be seen collaborating in a number of other projects including Hindi Medium 2.
Speaking on the association, Bhushan Kumar said, “When two like-minded people join hands, it is an easy team to work with. When the people working on a project are passionate about their work and give their best it’s an easy boat to sail and when the industry appreciates this association it’s a cherry on the cake. Dinesh and his team are always conceptualizing unique content making us want to work more and more together. Working on Hindi Medium together was a fruitful association. This has enabled us to want to work more and more together. Arjun Patiala is a film that will make you smile, laugh and crack up. Watch out for a cracking chemistry between both of them.”
