Anya Singh and Aadar Jain promote Qaidi Band in full swing

YRF will be launching two new faces in their upcoming film Qaidi Band, Anya Singh and Aadar Jain who play the lead in Habib Faisal’s next. The film is based around innocent under-trials and how they secure their acquittal by forming a music band. The duo have been promoting their film that will release on 25^th August in full force. Today, they visited a college campus to promote the film. They interacted with the students and made it a fun evening for the crowd.

Aadar Jain is the grand-son of Raj Kapoor and Ranbir & Kareena Kapoor’s cousin. Aadar had earlier said, “Ranbir assisted Mr Bhansali before getting his first break as an actor in Saawariya, and I did the same. I’ve had my apprehensions too before starting my journey in the Indian film industry, but now I am prepared for it. Ranbir was very proud of me because I never told him what my plan was, I told him about my first film after I got it, so he was proud of the fact that I trained myself in acting, went for auditions, and did all of it on my own. Incidentally, it was also Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma who had launched YRF talents, Aadar Jain and Anya Singh.

Anya Singh, a Delhi girl had stated, “I think when Habib Sir narrated the story to me, the fact that it was so different, the topic was so important and my character was something I just loved. Everything put together really lured me to do this film. I took it as a challenge. It’s a very interesting story and a very interesting concept. It’s very unconventional so that’s the best part about it. It’s very performance based which is so important I think. So I think I am very lucky in fact that this is my debut as opposed to the a conventional romantic movie that you usually see.”
