Rajkummar Rao is riding high on success with his latest release Newton. While his latest film has turned out to be a box office gold, it has been selected as India’s official entry to Oscars. And like always Amul has paid tribute to the movie with its latest doodle and captioned it as, “#Amul Topical: India’s official entry for 2018 Academy Awards!”

Talking about the doodle, Amul played with the title Newton as they wrote, “New Turn For The Oscars!” And also mentioned, “Amul Newtritious!”

Rajkummar Rao retweeted the doodle and captioned it, “Amul.. the taste of India.” Newton is getting a raving response at the box office. Apart from word-of-mouth, the fact that the news that it will represent India at the Oscars came out on the day of its release itself, has given it a much-needed spurt in footfalls. According to trade experts, the movie registered "remarkable" and "unprecedented" growth just a day after its opening day.

The movie which stars National Award-winning actor Rajkummar Rao, revolves around a government employee who struggles to supervise voting in a forest area of Chhattisgarh, controlled by Maoists, Secret Ballot is described as a movie which focuses on the life of a lady ballot officer who visits a barren and desolate place to plead with voters to cast their votes and take part in the elections.

Recently, Amul had an interesting take on Kangana and her recent controversial comments on Hrithik Roshan and Aditya Pancholi. In the ad shared by Amul, you can see the Amul girl as the host while Kangana is seen holding the mike and talking her heart out.

The main tagline for the ad stated, "NeverRansaut of controversy!" and added, "For heroines & heroes!"

Meanwhile, Kangana's movie Simran has released. The movie which is directed by Hansal Mehta is about a Gujarati NRI (played by Kangana)  who is a kleptomaniac.
