Amitabh Bachchan on daughter Shweta: I held her hand then; I hold it now
Amitabh Bachchan is proud father and he often takes to social media sites to laud and praise his kids. Today too he took to Instagram to share an adorable post and dedicated the same to his daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is a proud father and he never lets go of an opportunity to share it with all. He often lauds his kids on social media by sharing beautiful pics of Shweta and Abhishek and today too he posted an adorable post for his daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda on his Instagram handle. He posted a collage of two pics of Shweta and captioned the same with an aww-worthy message. One of the pics was of Sweta as a child and another one was from one of the events that they had attended recently. "I held her hand then .. I hold it now .. and shall ever do so .. Shweta my first born," wrote Big B. Shweta, who is married to a businessman Nikhil Nanda, is Amitabh Bachchan and wife Jaya’s first born and Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan is her brother.

Big B’s last movie 102 Not Out was a success and they recently celebrated the success of the movie as well. When asked how was his experience of working with Rishi Kapoor after 27 years, he had said, "It’s always good. We’ve done so many iconic films (Amar Akbar Anthony, Naseeb and Coolie, etc) together. It’s not as though he was ever out of sight or out of mind. The two of us have been around in the industry, he’s also a member of the family now. My daughter (Shweta Bachchan Nanda) is married into his (Kapoor-Nanda) family. So, it’s not like a lost-and-found story. It isn’t as if we just met after 27 years. He’s an accomplished artiste; the choice of him playing the other role was good. Working with him is always a joy."
On the professional front, Amitabh will be soon seen many movies such as Thugs of Hindostan, Brahmastra and Badla. In Thugs of Hindostan he will be seen with Katrina Kaif, Aamir Khan and Fatima Sana Shaikh and the movie is being helmed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. In the movie Brahmastra, he will be seen alongside Alia Bhatt and Ranbir and the movie is being helmed by Ayan Mukerji of Wake Up Sid fame. Now latest reports suggest Big B and Tapsee will reunite on screen after Pink for upcoming movie Badla and the same will be helmed by Sujoy Ghosh. The movie is a murder mystery and will go on floors in June. As per reports, the movie is the official remake of a Spanish movie- Contratiempo (The Invisible Guest).
