Amitabh Bachchan, Aaradhya Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan celebrate Holi with family
The Bachchans celebrate each festival with fanfare. The family comes together on auspicious days and conducts the rituals together. On the occasion of Holi, Amitabh Bachchan shared photos of him celebrating with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Aaradhya Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda.
The Bachchans celebrate each festival with fanfare. The family comes together on auspicious days and conducts the rituals together. Amitabh Bachchan used to host grand Holi celebrations at his residence earlier.
On the occasion of Holi and Dhuleti, Amitabh Bachchan shared photos of him celebrating with his family. “T 2730 - the Holika has been burnt and the prayers done .. the 'tilak' colours put .. and the special sweetmeat for the occasion 'gujiya' consumed ..,” he posted.
In the photos, Jaya Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with daughter Aaradhya can be seen with folded hands as they pray for the triumph of the good over evil.
Aaradhya looks adorable in a pink dress, whereas Aishwarya Rai Bachchan keeps it simple in a light-purple kurta and black leggings. In another photo, ‘dadaji’ Amitabh Bachchan can be seen applying a tilak on Aaradhya Bachchan’s head.Jaya Bachchan also applies tilak on Amitabh Bachchan’s forehead.
Abhishek Bachchan could not be a part of the celebrations as he is out of the city for the shoot of his next film, Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarzaiyan with Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. Abhishek took to his Twitter page and posted a photo of the film’s script and captioned it, “Almost time... ‘Manmarziyan’”

Last year, the family had not celebrated with colors and had only indulged in the customary Holika pooja as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father KrishnaRaj Rai was unwell.
