All you need to know about Misha Kapoor’s first birthday party

Mira and Shahid Kapoor’s darling daughter Misha Kapoor turned one on August 26. They had an intimate celebration and only close friends and family were invited. Misha Kapoor’s birthday party was based on the theme of ice-cream cones as ice-creams are Misha’s favorite desserts!

Mom Mira Kapoor organized the celebration and a famous Mumbai bakery baked the most beautiful cake for Misha. Mira Kapoor also ordered healthy desserts like Avocado chocolate mousse, Date carrot walnut cake and Raspberry coconut Panna Cotta. The Kapoors also had a range of Ice-cream shaped cookies on the menu.

Misha looked cute as doting parents Shahid and Mira helped her cut the birthday cake. Misha looked absolutely adorable in a lovely baby-pink colored outfit. Mira’s parents had flown in from Delhi to be a part of this special day. The celebration was a private affair and Mira & Shahid had to fly to Hong Kong for a wedding on the very next day. The family was in London since the last two weeks and arrived back in time for their daughter’s first birthday. About the celebration, Mira had earlier said, “I really liked how we used to have birthdays when we were young. It was really small and intimate.”

On the work front, Shahid is currently working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. The film will release in November this year. Shahid will be playing the role of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh in the film. He was last seen in Vishal Bharadwaj’s Rangoon.
