Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan are really busy in promoting their upcoming period drama 'Kalank'. The multi-starrer film also features Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha. Fans are really excited for the release of this movie after the release of the posters and teasers. Kalank was Yash Johar's ( Father of Karan Johar) dream film. The movie is set to hit the theatres on April 17. The advance bookings have already started. 'First class', 'Ghar More Pardesiya' and 'Tabaah Ho Gaye' are the three songs from the film which have been released till now.
Alia and Varun have been going from city to city in order to promote their film. The duo was in Jalandhar in the morning. Now, the team including Alia, Varun, Aditya and Sonakshi are in the capital for promotions. Alia and Sonakshi looked beautiful in soothing beige and indigo colored suits respectively. The male actors, on the other hand, carried the cool dude attitude with checks and solids. Recently, the cast went to different television shows like Super Dancer and The Kapil Sharma Show.
When Varun was asked as to how the fans are reacting to the songs and trailers of Kalank, he said, “This is one of the biggest films of our film career and only seven days are left for the release of the film so, we are very nervous and excited about it. We haven’t seen the film yet.” He further added, "I feel audience have huge expectations from this film because it has a huge cast and it’s huge in its scale. People have appreciated trailer and songs of the film so, hopefully on April 17, they will like the film as well."
