Alia Bhatt is in a thoughtful mood as she gets clicked with Karan Johar at his residence

Karan Johar threw an impromptu bash at his house and invited his close friends. B-Town divas Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt made it to the list. Alia Bhatt had a busy day at work with the shoot of Gully Boy, post which she attended Karan’s party.

Alia sported a grey T-shirt and was color coordinated with Karan. Karan too opted for a comfortable sweatshirt. Alia Bhatt looked in a thoughtful mood whereas Karan Johar was engrossed in his phone. Alia looked fresh as a daisy sans make-up.

Kareena Kapoor Khan arrived with besties Amrita Arora Ladak and Malaika Arora.

Kareena and Karan have been quite close, with the former calling him her ‘male best friend’. Alia Bhatt, on the other hand, debuted in Bollywood with Karan Johar’s Student of the Year and deems him father-figure.

Karan too had said, “She might end up inheriting some of my properties and whatever money I’m left with.” Karan has always called her, his adopted child.

Alia Bhatt is currently busy shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy, post which she will start shooting for Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra which will be produced by Karan Johar.

Alia has always credited Karan for giving her a break in the industry and for recognizing her talent. She has worked with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions in Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Kapoor & Sons, Humpy Sharma Ki Dulhania and 2 States.
