Alia Bhatt shares a sweet picture with Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji

Alia Bhatt and Ayan Mukerji have teamed up for the film Brahmastra. The actress will be working in the film with Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan.

Today, the actress shared a very cute picture with Ayan where she is all smiles. Alia looks adorable as she is sunkissed. Ayan looks smart in with his spectacled look. She captioned the photo, 'sunshine crew'.

Brahmastra is a trilogy film and it will be produced by Karan Johar.

About Brahmastra, Ayan had said in an interview, "It's the biggest project of my life. All my hopes are pinned on this film. I hope it becomes the biggest success... I am very excited about the cast but I hope the film gets even bigger than the cast."

Alia will be working with Ranbir Kapoor for the first time. About working with Ranbir, Alia had said in an interview to a leading daily, "I’m super-excited. I’ve always been open about the fact that I admire Ranbir as an actor, and I’m dying to work with him because I’m going to learn more about acting as a craft (from him). I am just a big fan of Ranbir. I’m also most excited about working with Ayan (Mukerji; director) because I loved both his films (Wake Up Sid, 2009, and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, 2013). He’s a very dear person."

Brahmastra is a fantasy adventure film, the first part of a trilogy and it will hit the screens on August 15, 2019.
