Alia Bhatt shares a sweet photo with her Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji and calls him best friend for life
Alia Bhatt celebrated her 25th birthday yesterday on the sets of her forthcoming film Brahmastra. She shared a photo posing with the director Ayan Mukerji on her Instagram page.
Alia Bhatt is currently in Bulgaria where she is shooting for Ayan Mukerji's directorial Brahmastra alongside Ranbir Kapoor. Yesterday, Alia celebrated her 25th birthday on the sets and she was also a part of surprise birthday bash hosted by Ayan. Her whole team, co-stars including Ranbir and Mouni Roy along with Neetu Kapoor celebrated Alia's birthday.
Today, Alia took to her Instagram page and thanked Ayan for hosting a surprise birthday party for her. She shared a sweet photo with Ayan and said, "director by day, party planner by night.. best friend for life"

Earlier, Alia shared a photo posing with Neetu Kapoor and Ayan where the trio was all smiles for the camera.
When a leading daily asked Alia about her birthday plans, she had stated, "Our shoot has been very hectic, so the cast and crew have been shooting non-stop. But Ayan is excited about my birthday. I guess he has been planning something like a cute little dinner. I’ve told him there is no pressure whatsoever to celebrate. All I want is a big cake, as I’ve been dieting like crazy. I won’t finish it by myself, but will at least eat three pieces through the day (laughs)."
Alia has an interesting line up of films this year – Raazi, Gully Boy, and Brahmastra. When asked how does she manage her hectic schedule, she replied, "I don’t know; I guess I am going mad. Every time someone talks about dates and all, they are like, ‘Alia, you aren’t breathing this year’. And I am like, ‘Yeah maybe next year’. But I am so grateful for everything. It feels good, but at the same time, I am nervous. I hope I am able to give my 100% to each and every character. I have to keep my head on my shoulders, put my blinkers on and work hard every day."
