Ranbir and Alia will be working together in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan in a vital role. Ranbir, Alia and Ayan recently returned from Tel Aviv, Israel where they had gone to prep for Brahmastra.
About Brahmastra, Ayan had said in an interview, "It's the biggest project of my life. All my hopes are pinned on this film. I hope it becomes the biggest success... I am very excited about the cast but I hope the film gets even bigger than the cast."
The movie is a trilogy, a fantasy adventure and it will be produced by Karan Johar. Karan Johar recently revealed that the shooting of the film will commence in February 2018.
About working with Ranbir, Alia had earlier said in an interview to a leading daily, "I’m super-excited. I’ve always been open about the fact that I admire Ranbir as an actor, and I’m dying to work with him because I’m going to learn more about acting as a craft (from him). I am just a big fan of Ranbir. I’m also most excited about working with Ayan (Mukerji; director) because I loved both his films (Wake Up Sid, 2009, and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, 2013). He’s a very dear person."
On the other hand, Jacqueline Fernandez is busy with the shoot of Race 3 which is being helmed by Remo D'Souza and also stars Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem and Daisy Shah.
As per reports in a leading daily, Jacqueline has started getting trained in mixed martial arts (MMA) for the film. When Jacqueline was asked about it, she had said, "I believe learning something new for my roles not only helps me add value to the character I am playing but also adds another dimension to my personality as it is something that stays with me forever."
The actress will also be seen in Tarun Mansukhani's Drive opposite Sushant Singh Rajput.
