Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha make their relationship official at Venice International Film Festival
Richa Chadha was Ali Fazal's date at the Venice International Film Festival
Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha have known each other for the past four-five years and are extremely close. They starred together in Fukrey and since then have been good friends.
But friendship seemed to have bloomed too much more as Richa accompanied Ali as his date to the Venice International Film Festival where his Hollywood movie Victoria & Abdul had a world premiere.
The pair has been dating for over a year now and made it official in Venice! Could it get more romantic!?
While Ali left for Venice on Friday night, Richa flew down a day later as she was shooting for her upcoming television show. They walked down the red carpet together at the official media event, thus confirming the news.
While Richa looked gorgeous in a sequined golden gown, Ali looked handsome in a dark blue suit, a white shirt and black trousers.
Recently, a popular US-based magazine listed him in the list of 10 Actors to Watch for 2017. Describing Ali, the magazine stated, "Star of the Bollywood films Fukrey and Khamoshiyan, Fazal made his American film debut in Furious 7, Fazal stars opposite Judi Dench in the upcoming Stephen Frears film Victoria & Abdul."
At the trailer launch of the movie in India, Ali spoke candidly about how he changed his co-star and veteran Oscar winning actress Dame Judi Dench's perception of India. The actor revealed, "We had a lot of conversation regarding Indian films, though her perception of Bollywood was song and dance, I shared how we are much more than that. She loves our country. In fact, she was little heartbroken when she got to know that she is not coming to India; which is quite ironic because even Victoria never visited India."
Directed by Stephen Frears, Victoria & Abdul is slated to release in India on October 6, 2017.
