Akshay Kumar promotes PadMan in the capital; Farhan Akhtar keeps it casual at the gym

Akshay Kumar was today clicked in the capital for the promotions of his upcoming film, PadMan. 

The actor was seen carrying a sanitary pad during the promotional event. He looked handsome in a grey shirt and black trousers.

Directed by R Balki, the film also stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte.
 
The film was supposed to release on January 25, 2018 along with Padmaavat. However, Akshay postponed the release date of his film on Sanjay Leela Bhansali's request. PadMan will now release on February 9, 2018.
 
Akshay had said in a press conference recently, "It's confirmed that the film will release on February 9th. See there's no point because more than mine the wait is theirs. It's essential forPadmaavat to release on that day. I can understand. We both can release on the same day but there's no point. Their stake is much higher than mine. So I can wait." 

Farhan Akhtar was also clicked in the city. He kept it casual and was seen wearing a tee and shorts. He completed his look with sunglasses and headband. 

On the work front, Farhan Akhtar and Sanjay Dutt reportedly will be working together in Nishikanth Kamath's film. Produced by Ajay Devgn and Abhinav Shukla, the film is a remake of Tamil superhit Jigarthanda.

Farhan had earlier spoken about the project to a leading tabloid stating, "I met Nishikant (Kamat, director of the remake) and he took me through the journey of the film. It’s a big action-comedy-drama, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s something new for me. I liked his last film, Drishyam, and I’ve known Sanju for a really long time. Interestingly, we have similar taste in music, but we’ve never discussed working together. Sanju’s a great chap. I can never base the decision of doing a film on whether it is just about me or not."
