Talking about his style statement, Akshay had earlier revealed, ''My personal style statement is very casual n relaxed. I think I’m most comfortable in tracks n a T-shirt.''
On the professional front, the actor will be next seen in the film Gold. The first teaser for the film was released this year and has impressed everyone.
Directed by Reema Kagti, the film is based on India's first Olympic medal win in hockey after India became independent.
Reportedly, the superstar recently received a bag full of gifts from his team and the reason is very sweet. His team was missing him and hence, they turned up to meet him and surprised him with gifts.
A source had informed, "The movie is scheduled to release on the Independence Day weekend. And the team cherished the experience of shooting with Khiladi Kumar. So, a couple of Reema’s assistants along with some crew members went to meet Akshay. Guess after the time spent with him, they also knew that though he is strict about his eating habits, he has a sweet tooth. As a result, they brought two cakes made especially for him, a lovely pair of shoes in an unusual sky blue colour (Akki has a huge collection of footwear) and a T-shirt with the slogan ‘One more for safety’ embossed on it, which they gifted him."
Akshay will be also seen Kesari with Parineeti Chopra. Talking about the film, he recently said, "I have been shooting for 'Kesari' since the last one and a half months, and every time that I wear the taaj (turban) on my head, I am filled with pride.’’
