Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy promote Gold in style at a radio station
Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy were snapped while promoting Gold at a radio station today. The actors made a stylish appearance and were all smiles for the cameras.
This Independence Day Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy will be seen together in the film Gold. The film will mark TV actor Mouni Roy's debut in Bollywood. Gold is directed by Reema Katgi and is based on India's first ever Gold medal win at the Olympics post-Independence in the game of Hockey. In the film, Akshay Kumar essays the role of a Hockey coach named Tapan Das. Mouni Roy will be seen as his wife and her character's name is Monobina Das.
Akshay and Mouni have been promoting their film through various platforms since last few weeks. Kickstarting their day today, the duo were clicked at a radio station for the promotions of their upcoming release. Akshay kept it cool by wearing a black t-shirt and jeans. Mouni Roy looked stunning in a golden crop top and matching asymmetrical wraparound style skirt. The actors were all smiles and posed together for the shutterbugs.

Gold also stars Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Kumar Singh, Amit Sadh and Sunny Kaushal in pivotal roles. The film is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment. It is slated to release on August 15, 2018, and will be clashing with John Abraham and Manoj Bajpayee starrer Satyameva Jayate.
Post Gold, Akshay Kumar will be seen in periodic film Kesari. He stars alongside Parineeti Chopra in the film making it their first film together. The actor also recently finished the first schedule of Sajid Khan's Housefull 4. The film also stars Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol in vital roles.
On the other hand, Mouni Roy will be essaying a negative role in Brahmastra. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film stars Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles.
