Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar meet PM Narendra Modi to discuss issues related to the film industry
Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar took to their Instagram pages and shared photos with honourable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, whom they met today.
Bollywood celebrities are often seen meeting the honourable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi for important discussions. Several celebrities become a part of an important panel discussion with PM Modi and the photos instantly get circulated on the Internet. A few celebs even make sure to invite our PM for important events in their lives like marriages. Today, Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar took to their Instagram pages and shared a few snaps with the PM.
Akshay shared a photo where he was seen sitting with PM Modi and ace filmmakers of Bollywood namely Karan, Sajid Nadiadwala, Mahavir Jain, Ritesh Sidhwani to name a few. He posted the photo and said, "Heartfelt thank you to the honorable Prime Minister @narendramodi ji for taking out time to hear us at length, discuss issues pertaining to our industry and assuring positive consideration of suggestions."
KJo also shared a candid click with PM Modi while shaking hands. Talking about the photo, Karan said, "It was enlightening to hear the honourable Prime Minsiter @narendramodi share his views on our Industry’s soft power status and the strength of our cinema...he gave our media and entertainment representatives a patient and solid hearing....thank you Sir!!"

Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay and Karan are all set to collaborate for two films. Akshay will next be seen in Kesara which is a historic film based on the famous Battle of Saragarhi. The film will release during the Holi weekend of 2019. The movie also stars Parineeti Chopra.
