On the occasion of Baisakhi, Akshay shared a new still from the film Kesari. In the picture, Akshay is seen looking intently at the onset of dawn. The still is extremely intriguing and Akshay's transformation will stun you.
Kesari is based on the Battle of Saragarhi. The actor will be seen playing the role of a military commander of 21 Sikh soldiers named Havaldar Ishar Singh who fought against thousands of Afghani invaders.
Talking about Kesari, Akshay stated to a leading tabloid, "It is not that I will do only this kind of film. I am doing a war film called Kesari, it is for the first time that I am doing a war film, it is new for me. So I am very excited about it."
In an interview with a leading agency, Disha Patani said she won’t do films just for the sake for it as for her, story is important.
“The story matters to me a lot. I can't do something I don't like. Just for the sake of being out there... Showing people I exist, I can't do that... Because it's a lot of work. Filmmaking is not easy. You have to give your 1,000 per cent. You don't get to sleep, eat. I’m not happy to do it if I'm not happy with the story. I look for stronger roles, for the parts that would help me leave an impact. People should like the characters I play. Maybe, that's why I find it hard to find roles," said the actor.
