Akash Ambani-Shloka Mehta Engagement Party: Kajol and Karan Johar hug each other as they head to the venue

Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani's son Akash Ambani's engagement party is being held in the city today at their house. He will be getting engaged to Shloka Mehta. The pre-engagement functions and Mehendi ceremony were hosted by the Ambani and Mehta family earlier this week.

Actor Kajol and her best friend Karan Johar are all set to attend the engagement party. Kajol took to her Instagram page to share a few photos.

In one picture, Kajol is posing beautifully and she is dressed in a white and black traditional attire. She captioned the photo, "All suited up!"

In another picture, she hugs her bestie Karan Johar and the duo is all smiles in this adorable photo. The Fanaa actor captioned it, "Smile beats pout every time !"

Kajol and Karan Johar have worked together in films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and My Name Is Khan. In 2016, the duo wasn't on talking terms due to issues that came up when Ajay Devgn's film Shivaay was clashing with KJo's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. However, last year Kajol herself sent a message to Karan and invited him to her personal birthday bash. Karan attended the party and duo hugged out and thus, became friends again.

Talking about Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta, the couple will reportedly tie the knot in December 2018 between the dates 8-10. However, there is no confirmation about the same. Akash formally proposed to his girlfriend Shloka in March this year in front of their families.
