Aiyaary Poster: Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee are READY to serve the nation selflessly
Aiyaary's poster is finally out.
Neeraj Pandey's Aiyaary is based on real life incident that revolves around two strong-minded army officers having completely different views, yet right in their own ways. Manoj Bajpayee is the mentor while Sidharth Malhotra plays his protege in the film. The first poster is finally out and Sidharth took to Instagram to share it.
He wrote, "#AiyaaryPoster is out now! This one is for all those who serve our nation selflessly. #Aiyaary in cinemas this #RepublicDay #VijayDiwas @neerajpofficial @BajpayeeManoj @Rakulpreet." In the poster, you can see the backdrop of our National Flag. The movie also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Anupam Kher, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Kumud Mishra, Shivam Patil, Puru Raajkumar, Patrick Clarke, Naseeruddin Shah, Adil Hussain, Alexx O'Nell, Deepraj Rana and Pooja Chopra in pivotal roles.
Today is Vijay Diwas and it was a deliberate decision to unviel the poster today. The filmmaker said, "Vijay Diwas is a very significant day for the military troops of the country. It's a tribute to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the victory of India in 1971. We thought what better day than this to release the poster of our film, Aiyaary. We dedicate it to our military troops and their brave families."
When Sidharth was asked about his new film, the actor revealed, "I am really excited to announce this new project with Neeraj. Neeraj’s films have always been inspired from true events and I have admired his films from the beginning as he is a content-driven director with an amazing story-telling ability. Aiyaary is also based on a story of true events and I am thrilled to venture into this new role of espionage and military intelligence with him."
Aiyaary is slated to release on January 26, 2018.
