On the work front, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan will reunite on-screen after 8 years. Their last film together was Mani Ratnam’s Raavan which did decent business at the box office. The couple has signed Sarvesh Mewara’s Gulab Jamun and the film will reportedly go on floors next year. It’s a slice-of-life film.
Aishwarya’s last release was Fanney Khan earlier this year with Rajkummar Rao and Anil Kapoor whereas Abhishek Bachchan returned with Manmarziyaan after a 2-year sabbatical from movies.
