Aishwarya Rai Bachchan looks ethereal and Aaradhya Bachchan strikes a pose with her
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan attended IFFM 2017 in Australia.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is in Australia where she is attending the prestigious Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. Accompanying the actress was her darling daughter Aaradhya Bachchan.
Aishwarya was the first female actor ever to hoist the tricolour at the annual ceremony, which is part of a special segment. The mother-daughter duo were all smiles as they proudly hoisted the Indian flag.
While the actress looked mesmerising in a white and light blue floor length anarkali dress which had zari work on it, Aaradhya looked cute as a button in a white ghagra choli.
Manish Malhotra, who designed their outfits took to Instagram to share a candid picture of the mother-daughter duo. The usually camera shy Aaradhya was seen posing for the camera while mommy dearest stared at her munchkin adorably.
Speaking about Aishwarya, Mitu Bhowmick-Lange (Director of IFFM) had stated, "IFFM is proud to welcome one of India’s most loved and iconic actors – Aishwarya Rai Bachchan – to the festival and look forward to celebrating Indian cinema in Australia. Aishwarya will be also walking the red carpet as a special guest at the star-studded awards night to be held on August 11 at Melbourne’s Recital Centre."
However, it was not all work for Aishwarya. The actress even took some down time to stroll around Melbourne while looking like a million bucks. Wearing a Marks and Spencer trench coat and Stuart Weitzman boots, Aishwarya looked ethereal.
Meanwhile, Aishwarya will next be seen as a glamourised singer in Fanney Khan that is being helmed by Atul Manjrekar and co-produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, KriArj Entertainment and T-Series. Fanney Khan which also stars Anil Kapoor is slated for an April 2018 release.
