Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan show their eternal love for each other at WIFT Awards

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan are currently in Washington DC, the United States of America. The actor went there to receive the Meryl Streep Award for Excellence at the first Women in Film and Television (WIFT) India Awards. Earlier, WIFT India shared a statement that Aishwarya is receiving the award for showcasing a "distinction in her craft and for expanding the role of women within the entertainment industry. Moreover, Janhvi Kapoor also attended the event along with Aishwarya in the US.

At the award show, Aishwarya opted for an Egyptian style attire wearing a black and gold gown with tulle pleated in layers and golden embellishments encrusted in corset style. She also wore a gold patchwork style bracelet. On the other hand, Aaradhya looked like a princess wearing a baby pink one-shoulder gown with feather style ruffles and a red sash tied across in a bow style. She teamed it up with a red rose headband. Aishwarya shared several photos on her Instagram page posing with Aaradhya and her mom Vrinda.

The statement issued by WIFT India also said, "Our aim here is to encourage others to think outside the norm of gender-based hiring practices and give females of all nationalities an equal chance to vie in fields dominated by men."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Aishwarya's latest film outing was Fanney Khan. Now, after almost a decade, the actor will be reuniting with her husband and actor Abhishek Bachchan in Gulab Jamun.
