Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan are all smiles as they leave for Cannes

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be walking the red-carpet of the Cannes Film Festival for the 17^th time this year. Aishwarya has upped the glam quotient at the festival with her looks over the years.

She was clicked today with daughter Aaradhya Bachchan at the airport as they headed to France for the Cannes Film Festival. Aishwarya and Aaradhya posed for photos for the media.The mother-daughter duo was color-coordinated in black attires. Aishwarya looked beautiful in minimal make-up.

Aishwarya had said last year about her experience at Cannes Film Festival, “Oh yes, it’s the sweet 16 but what makes it sweeter is I’m here to celebrate the festival’s 70th year. So it’s quite a big milestone in the collective association and it’s nice that it coincides with my 16th year. After all these years, it’s kind of a familial relationship that we have developed and it’s always nice to join in any celebrations — congratulate your fellow associates, professionals and fellow friends and it’s nice to just revel.”

She will be officially joining Instagram today ahead of her red carpet appearance. Aishwarya will be walking the ramp on May 12, 2018 and May 13, 2018.
