Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are doting parents to their six-year-old daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. The two were spotted outside Aaradhya's school as they were there to pick her up after the teaching sessions got over. Aaradhya was seen in her school uniform.

During an interview with a leading magazine, Abhishek was all praises for Ash for being a supermom. He had said, "When she became a mother her career took a backseat. Today, she does everything for Aaradhya. She is supermom. Soon after Aaradhya was born, the media went at her about her weight gain. Nasty things were written, which really upset me. If that upset her, she said nothing. Water off a duck’s back, said Aishwarya when she saw me perturbed. Anyone who knows her would know that she has never spent a day in the gym. The only time was when we were shooting Dhoom 2 (2006), and Uday Chopra, Hrithik Roshan and I dragged her."
On the work front, Aishwarya will next be seen in Fanne Khan which also stars Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Divya Dutta in lead roles. Aishwarya will be playing the role of a glamourous singer in the movie. On the other hand, Abhishek Bachchan is rumored to be working in Manmarziyan. The film will be directed by Anurag Kashyap. It will also star Taapsee Pannu in the lead role.
Also, there are reports that Aishwarya and Abhishek will be reuniting after a long time in the remake of the 1973 classic film, Abhimaan. The original film starred Abhishek's father and mother, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bhaduri (Bachchan) in the lead.
