Airport Diaries: Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur head to Hyderabad for Kalank's shoot
Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur were snapped at the airport today. The trio were on their way to Hyderabad for Kalank's shoot.
Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt made their Bollywood debut together in 2012 with Karan Johar's Student of The Year which also starred Sidharth Malhotra. After SOTY, the duo worked together in two more films - Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Varun and Alia make for a cute pair onscreen. The actors have now reunited again for their fourth film together titled, Kalank.
Kalank is a period drama which is being helmed by Abhishek Varman. Along with Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, the film also stars Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur. The actors have been shooting for the film from April this year. Today, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur were snapped at the Mumbai airport early in the morning. They were heading to Hyderabad for the shoot of Kalank. The actors were all smiles at the airport. In his Instagram story today, the October actor shared that they are going to shoot the second last schedule of the film.

In the film, Madhuri Dixit will be playing the role of a courtesan. A few pictures from the sets were released earlier in which she was dressed for her character.
Kalank is being produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The film is slated to release on April 19, 2019.
After Kalank, Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur will be working again in Mahesh Bhatt's Sadak 2. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt in the lead roles.
