After shining at the Cannes Film Festival, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan returns to the city with daughter Aaradhya

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan upped the style quotient at the Cannes Film Festival with her scintillating looks. She wowed in a stunning Michael Cinco butterfly inspired colourful sleeveless gown featuring a long embroidered embellished train and a plunging neckline on Day 1.

On the second day, Aishwarya opted for a strapless powder blue form-fitting shiny gown with an embroidered train. An updo hairstyle with highlighted eyes and minimal accessories completed her look.

She ruled the red-carpet with her distinct looks.

She returned to the city today with daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. Aishwarya posted adorable photos of her daughter on her social media account. The mother-daughter duo returned to the city today. In an earlier interaction, when asked about the times she has missed the mark in terms of red-carpet looks at Cannes Film Festival, Aishwarya had told PTI, “I've never made it the fulcrum of my existence. We are a public personality and I know with social media, everybody has an opinion. I am realistic, I recognise them. I am on the public platform so there will be opinions galore.”

She had further added, “I've always joked that I go with the flow and you all can enjoy the show. I know they (her stylists) will never do something which will make me physically uncomfortable. If I am, I won't go like that in front of the world. I've always been open creatively and have reflected that even in my choice of cinema. Once you see and recognize that about me, you know my dos and don'ts and know my openness to creative flair.”
