Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanya Malhotra kickstart shooting for Anurag Basu's next; view PIC

Anurag Basu's upcoming film has been in the news for quite some time now. It started first when a picture of Rajkummar Rao and Fatima Sana Shaikh for an upcoming sequence was doing the rounds on the internet, followed by a leaked picture of Abhishek Bachchan as a rickshaw puller. The film also has been in the news as it will see Sanya Malhotra and Fatima reunite for yet another film post the hit film they gave together, Dangal.

Now yesterday, both Sanya and Aditya shared pictures on social media as the two have kickstarted the shoot for Anurag Basu's upcoming film. The movie is yet to get a title, but is touted to be an action comedy film, and is slated to release on September 6, 2019. However, a lot is yet to be revealed, and given the fact that both Rajkummar and Aditya have their on-screen partners, a third leading lady might also be roped in (or already has been roped in) opposite Abhishek.

Sanya was last seen in Badhaai Ho alongside Ayushmann Khurrana while Aditya was last seen in Ok Jaanu alongside Shraddha Kapoor. Aditya will also be seen in Kalank, which also stars Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, and others.
