Abhishek Bachchan shares beautiful moments with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan from Guru as the movie clocks 12 years
Abhishek Bachchan took to his Instagram story and shared a few stills with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan from the movie Guru. The film has completed 12 years of its release today.
The lovely couple Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have worked together in about seven films namely Dhai Akshar Prem Ke, Kuch Naa Kaho, Umrao Jaan, Dhoom 2, Guru, Sarkar Raj and Raavan. But they were adored the most when they romanced each other in Mani Ratnam's 2007 directorial titled Guru. In the film, Abhishek played the titular role and Aishwarya played his wife named Sujata. When the release of the film was around the corner, the couple got engaged and surprised everyone.
Today, the film marks 12 years of its release and Abhishek took a trip down memory lane and shared a few moments from Guru on his Instagram story. Abhishek posted a picture collage with Aishwarya from the film and it's too romantic to handle. Their chemistry was the most talked about back then. AB posted the story with a caption stating, "Can't believe it been 12yrs since the release of #Guru"

Earlier talking about Guru, Ratnam had stated to Hindustan Times, "I cast them (Abhishek and Aishwarya) because I felt they are right for the character. I think they can deliver and we together can get something special. Being stars and popular should not go against them. It is not a negative factor."
Aishwarya and Abhishek announced their engagement on January 14, 2007. They then tied the knot on April 20, 2007. The couple last shared screen space in Mani Sir's Raavan which released in 2010.
