An event honoring the late Tiger Pataudi was organized in Delhi today. B-Town celebs made their presence felt; stars like Aamir Khan, Sohail Khan, Neha Dhupia attended the event. Cricketers Mohammed Kaif, Virender Sehwag, Kapil Dev also arrived for the event.

Tiger Pataudi’s family members Soha Ali Khan, Saba Sultan and Sharmila Tagore were also in attendance. Soha looked pretty in a semi-formal attire and Sharmila Tagore looked graceful as ever in a printed saree. Saif Ali Khan could not make it to the event as he is busy with the shoot of his upcoming film in Rajasthan.

Aamir Khan was seen engrossed in a deep conversation with Angad Bedi, Bishan Singh Bedi and Sohail Khan. He also posed for photos with fans. Check out the photos from the event!

In her book, ‘The Perils of Being Moderately Famous’, Soha Ali Khan has shared many anecdotes about Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. An ace cricketer and a Nawab, his journey from royalty to cricket grounds has been an inspiring one.

Son Saif Ali Khan has mentioned in interviews that he would like to make a film on his father’s life. He had said, “I would love to. He is a huge icon in my mind. He was a stylish person — with his body language, the way he spoke, his attitude, and even the way he smoked his cigarettes. You can’t come close [to him]. It’s like making a film on Bruce Lee. Who is going to copy his body language? That is my main concern. Amma (Sharmila Tagore) feels Ranbir (Kapoor) can. Yes, he has a long face like my father but I don’t think he likes cricket. However, it will be great [to see a film on him]. It will be a great story about bringing India together.”
