Sridevi's untimely passing away in Dubai on February 24, 2018 shocked and saddened the film industry.
Aamir Khan, who was busy with some professional commitments could not meet the bereaved family.
Today, he visited Sridevi's house along with Kiran Rao to meet Boney Kapoor.
However, after the news of Sridevi's death, Aamir shared a heartful message on Twitter and mentioned that she embodied grace and dignity.
Aamir's tweet read, "I am deeply disturbed and saddened by the untimely and tragic passing away of Srideviji. I have always been a huge fan of her work. Equally I have always been an admirer of the grace and dignity with which she conducted herself. My heartfelt condolences to everyone in the family. I join all the millions of her fans in mourning her demise. Ma'am, we will always remember you with love and respect."

Sridevi was accorded State Honours and was wrapped in the tricolour as the veteran actor adorned her favourite red and golden kanjeevaram saree. When Sridevi was taken to the cremation ground, Boney Kapoor and daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor were by her side.
In a final bid to their beloved family member, Sridevi's ashes were brought by Boney in a special aircraft and along with Janhvi and Khushi, the trio travelled to Rameswaram to immerse her ashes.
