5 Years of Ek Tha Tiger: Katrina Kaif reminisces her blockbuster film with Salman Khan

Kabir Khan’s super-hit film Ek Tha Tiger that saw Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif playing RAW and ISI Agents respectively was released on Independence Day in 2012. The action packed film was Salman and Katrina’s fourth full-fledged film together after Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, Partner and Yuvvraj. The film opened to massive numbers and was shot in picturesque locations of Cuba, Turkey and Ireland. Today, as it completes five years since its release, Katrina Kaif shared a photo with Salman Khan on her social media account.
Katrina and Salman will be coming together in the sequel of Ek Tha Tiger. Titled ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, the film is being helmed by Sultan Director Ali Abbas Zafar and is currently being shot in Abu Dhabi and Morocco. The film will see the return of Tiger and Zoya, Salman and Katrina’s characters in Ek Tha Tiger respectively.
Katrina was quoted saying, “It is going to be great for Salman and me to work together in Tiger Zinda Hai. And I’m really happy we are coming back with this movie. The sequel is possibly the perfect film for both Salman and me to do together now. We were the most comfortable on the sets of ETT, as Tiger and Zoya. I think it worked well for us. It’s going to be interesting to be back on sets together.
Katrina is currently working with all the three Khans. She has been shooting for Thugs of Hindostan with Aamir Khan and will also be joining Anand L. Rai’s set to shoot with Shahrukh Khan in a yet untitled film.
