Aishwarya Rai Bachchan visits Allahabad to immerse her late father's ashes, Abhishek-Aaradhya accompany
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan along with Abhishek Bachchan and Aaradhya spotted in Allahabad.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's father Krishnaraj Rai passed away earlier this year on March 18, 2017 around 4 pm. He was under intensive care at the Lilavati hospital and succumbed to lymphoma after being admitted in hospital for over a month.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Ajitabh Bachchan, Mickey Contractor, Kunal Kapoor, Sikandar Kher among others had visited him.
A week after his death, Aishwarya and daughter Aaradhya had visited Mangalore to meet their family members and also visit some temples. Pictures of the actress praying at the very famous Shri Sathyadevi temple at Gurpur had gone viral on the web. She had also visited the Sahasralingeshwara temple in Uppinangady to offer prayers for her late dad.
Today, Aishwarya along with husband Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan flew down to Allahabad's Sangam Ghat to immerse the ashes of her late father.
Dressed simply in a white churidar along with a pallu on her head, Aishwarya was seen sporting a red tika on her forehead while she was carrying Aaradhya in her arms. While Abhishek stepped out in white pathani with a light yellow Nehru jacket, Aaradhya made a cute appearance in a white dress with a yellow dupatta. The actors were clicked by the paparazzi as they arrived at the Sangam ghat.

On the work front, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will soon begin shooting for Fanney Khan opposite Anil Kapoor. The movie is being jointly produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Prerna Arora. When asked about Aishwarya's role, Prerna had told in an interview, "She plays a glamorous and highly styled singer. The movie goes on-floors from July first week and Aishwarya will join the team only by August end."
