Akshay Kumar impresses reality show contestants with a 30 second headstand

Akshay Kumar is not only a fine actor but is also a pro when it comes to doing stunts. The actor, who will soon be seen in his new film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, landed on the sets of a dance reality show called Dance Plus to promote his new film.

Akshay was awestruck to see the dance talent and the stunts these contestants managed to do in in their dance performances. During one such instant, Akshay was bowled over the contestant Bir Radha Sherpa seeing him do headstand in  his performance and also holding it for good one minute.

The contestant went onto to reveal how he’s big fan of Akshay and his stunts and admires the actor as he believes in doing all his stunts himself.

Dance Plus crew along with judge Remo requested Akshay if he can show some of his stunts on stage. The actor willingly obliged and surprised everyone by doing a headstand himself and holding it on stage for good 30 seconds.

The actor will be seen taking the initiative of addressing the sanitation problem in India in his upcoming film with also stars Bhumi Pednekar in the lead role. The movie has been helmed by Shree Narayan Singh and will release on August 11, 2017.

Toilet Ek Prem Katha is said to be based on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's pet project Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan. While talking to a leading daily, Akshay was asked if he deliberately chose to do socially conscious films. Responding to it, he said, "We are trying to address issues in films, with a dash of comedy, romance and action. My next film is Padman, which is based on sanitary napkins. More than 90 percent of Indian women can’t even afford them. It’s an issue not really talked about.”
