Aamir Khan shares the new poster of Zaira Wasim's Secret Superstar and it's a superhit in the making
Here's the new poster of Secret Superstar.
Aamir Khan's much-awaited film Secret Superstar is all set to hit the screens this year. Last year, Aamir unveiled the teaser of the film and the lead actor Zaira Wasim stole the show with her convincing performance. Mr. Perfectionist is also a part of the film in an extended cameo and his never-seen-before avatar left people spellbound.
Today, Aamir shared a new poster for the film and it indeed speaks a thousand words. In the poster, Zaira is seen walking on a bridge wearing a school uniform and carrying a backpack. In the bag, there's a microphone hanging outside. Moreover, the skyline is filled with musical notes and the tagline is written on it saying, "Dream Dekhna Toh Basic Hota Hai"

Moreover, Aamir revealed that the trailer of the film will be unveiled on August 2, 2017, and the film is slated to release this year during the Diwali weekend.
Secret Superstar is directed by debutant Advait Chandan and produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Zee Studios and Akash Chawla.
Talking about the plot of the film, Zaira plays a 14-year-old girl named Insia who desires to be a singer much to the chagrin of her dad. She then decides to make her own YouTube channel in which she posts videos of herself singing while covering her face in a burkha. She is then scouted by Aamir's character who is a music director and is impressed by Insia's musical gift.
