Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt strike a special pose when enroute to Delhi.
We saw Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh head to Delhi for their Manish Malhotra show. The two lead stars of Zoya Akhtar's movie Gully Boy, were clicked by the paps at the airport today. They are seen here enroute to Delhi. Check out the quirky pose that Ranveer has struck with Alia. They captioned it as Vikram aur Betaal. Now, isn't that hilarious?
Apparently, Ranveer plays a rapper in this film, that deals with the street rappers from Mumbai’s chawls and ghettos. Zoya and Ranveer have been prepping up for the movie by attending sessions of street rappers, Naezy and Divine, who were the subjects of a documentary Bombay 70. Gully Boy is reportedly inspired by the characters of Naezy and Divine..
Ohter than this, Ranveer will also be seen in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie Padmavati. The movie also features Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor. It is all set to release this November.
Alia on the other hand, will also work on her Ayan Mukerji movie Dragon opposite Ranbir Kapoor. She will also be seen in the Meghna Gulzar movie Raazi. In the interesting project, Alia plays a plays a Kashmiri girl married to a Pakistani army officer.
Meghna had said about the film, “I am trying to do something in a new space, recreating India and Pakistan of the ’70s on sets and real locations. A lot of research has gone into getting the period and dialect right. There are some action pieces too. Its work in progress with workshops and reading sessions."
