Late call time for Padmavati makes Shahid Kapoor lazy

Shahid Kapoor's next outing is the much-awaited historical drama Padmavati directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. In the film, Shahid will be playing the role of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh alongside Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.

The shooting is happening secretively and is in full swing at a popular studio in the city. But, Shahid is feeling lazy today for the shoot. He clicked a selfie while on the bed and posted it on his Instagram page.

Talking about Padmavati, Deepika will be seen in the titular role Rani Padmini and Ranveer is set to be seen as the main antagonist Alauddin Khilji.

Earlier in an interview, when Shahid was asked about the magnum opus, he stated, "Somehow, by default, in most actors’ careers – over the years – they are remembered by the love stories that they have done. They (love) break the barrier of time and audiences keep going back to them. I have been a part of a couple [of such films] and I hope my next film, Padmavati also falls into that category. It definitely has the makings of being something like that."

When asked to divulge more details about Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film by an agency, he said, "I am not supposed to talk much about the film. All I can say is it's an amazing cast and it is going to be a spectacular visual experience. I am having an amazing time on it. Wait for it, it's coming in November."
