PICS: Vivek Oberoi and Richa Chadha promote Inside Edge on The Drama Company

Vivek Oberoi and Richa Chadha are seen here having a blast on the TV comedy show The Drama Company. The show features Krushna Abhishek, Sudesh Lahiri, Sugadha Mishra, and Dr. Sanket Bhosle.

Krushna Abhishek, who is married to Kashmera Shah recently became a dad to twins via surrogacy. He is seen here hosting the show while guests Vivek and Richa look happy to join in the fun.

Inside Edge is based on a fictional T20 cricket team, Mumbai Mavericks that play in the Powerplay League. It premiered on Amazon Video on July 10 and stars Richa Chada, Tanuj Virwani, Vivek Oberoi and Angad Bedi in lead roles. The team has been receiving a good response from the critics and the audience.

Richa Chadha stars as Zarina Malik, a fading actress and co-owner of the Mumbai Mavericks while Vivek Oberoi features as Vikrant Dhawan, owner of one of the world's most leading sports management companies.

Asked if they chose cricket as a subject because of its immense popularity worldwide, Karan Anshuman, the creator of the show, said: "Well, cricket is a very integral part of our culture. So before thinking of the world, I think about our emotions that go into cricket and entertainment."

Talking about the potential of digital content in the global entertainment world, producer Ritesh Sidhwani had said, "I think that is the next step -- to reach out to the global audience with our original stories, like we are also enjoying entertainment from across the globe."
