Pics: Shruti Haasan and boyfriend Michael Corsale catch a screening of Raagdesh

Shruti Haasan is clicked here at the screening of the movie Raagdesh, which is all set to release this weekend. The pretty actress was clicked with boyfriend Michael Corsale. 

On the work front, Shruti will be next seen on the big screen in Tigmanshu Dhulia's Yaara. The light-eyed actress was last seen in the movie Behen Hogi Teri, in which she teamed up with actor Rajkummar Rao for the first time. In the Ajay K Pannalal-directorial, she played a feisty character - Binny, a strong-headed girl from Lucknow.

As for Raagdesh, it is directed by National Award winning director Tigmanshu Dhulia and produced by Gurdeep Singh Sappal & RSTV. Director Dhulia spoke about the movie saying, "It was very important not to cast known stars as these real-life soldiers from Subhas Chandra Bose's army. I firmly believe iconic stars do not do not justice to real-life characters."

The movie stars Kunal Kapoor, Mohit Marwah and Amit Sadh. For the role of Subhas Chandra Bose, Tigmanshu roped in Assamese actor Kenny Basumatary. "He was already working with me in my other film while I was looking for an actor to play Subhas Chandra Bose. I suddenly realised Kenny has a striking resemblance to Bose," he added.

Raagdesh is a film that salutes the heroes of the Indian National Army. It revolves round the Red Fort trial of the three INA officers. It was specially screened for the President at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
