Ayushmann and Bhumi’s Shubh Mangal Saavdhaan teaser has got us all excited
The teaser of Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar’s new film Shubh Mangal Saavdhaan has been released on Twitter.
Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar proved to be a super hit Jodi when they came together for the first time in Dum Laga Ke Haisha which even went on to win the National Award.
The much-loved on screen pair is coming again together for Aanand L Rai’s new film called Shubh Mangal Saavdhaan. The film has been making news ever since they started shooting the film but now we finally have a teaser of the film which looks pretty interesting.
The production banner Eros released the teaser of the film on their official Twitter account a few hours ago and by the looks of it, it seems the film will manage to pull the audience to the theatres.
The teaser doesn’t feature the lead actors as of now but shows that the film is based on a non-hot character of Bhumi Pednekar and non-cool role of Ayushmann Khurrana.
The Vicky Donor actor also retweeted the teaser links which were shared by a few celebs on the micro-blogging site. The film’s name was also trending for a few hours on Twitter.
The film, which is directed by Prasanna and produce by Aanand L. Rai, tackles the issue of erectile dysfunction. The film is a remake of Prasanna's Tamil release Kalyana Samayal Saadham.
When a popular tabloid asked Ayushmann about it earlier, he had said, "Let's not call it a remake. It is the rebirth of the same story but the milieu and humour is different. It's amended to suit Bollywood."
Adds Bhumi, "There is no fun in doing a run-of-the-mill love story. If films have the ability to change orthodox mindsets, they why not encourage them. This is wacky. We play a couple who are deeply in love but there is a twist in the tale. Sex is still a taboo here but it's changing. After all, this is the land of Kamasutra."
