PICS: A serious looking Ranveer Singh papped in the city today

Ranveer Singh, who is usually in a peppy and fun mood, was clicked in a rather serious and solemn mood today. The paps clicked away as Ranveer, who is sporting his Padmavati look these days, drove away in his car. 

Ranveer is busy with the shoot of his Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie Padmavati these days. The movie also features Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor. Ranveer, who plays Alauddin Khilji in the movie, apparently does not share any screen space with Dippy in the much awaited period film. Shahid on the other hand, plays Ms Padukone's husband Raja Rawal Ratan Singh. He recently revealed that the movie has a strong love story between himself and Deepika. 

Ranveer will also be seen in Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy opposite Alia Bhatt. Ranveer plays a rapper in the movie and therefore has been practicing this skill with his rapper friends. 

Mr Singh recently rang in his 32nd birthday amidst much love and fanfare. He was clicked going for a spin with ladylove Deepika in his swanky new ride.

Ranveer ventured into Bollywood with the 2010 romantic comedy film Band Baaja Baaraat, and went on to entertain his fans with films like Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, Lootera, Dil Dhadakne Do and Bajirao Mastani.
