PICS: Kajol, Dhanush and Soundarya promote VIP 2 in Delhi

Kajol looked lovely in a pink dress at the promotions of her Tamil movie VIP 2. She was accompanied by her co-star Dhanush, who looked dapper in a grey suit. Also seen is director Soundarya Rajnikanth. 

Kajol, who is making her comeback into southern cinema after two decades said at the event that cinema has changed and there are no more language barriers. "I think in general, yes. But cinema has changed too. I feel the barriers in cinema, where language is concerned (has changed)," Kajol said. She added: "We have categorised it as Bollywood, Hollywood and Kollywood... But honestly, those barriers have changed on an international level."

"We have English films like The Avengers and Spider-Man which do humongous business, then there is Baahubali, which goes abroad and does so much business and comes back..." she further added. 

VIP 2 is a bilingual comedy directed by Soundarya Rajnikanth. A sequel to the 2014  film Velaiilla Pattadhari, it has Dhanush, Amala Paul, Vivek, Saranya Ponvannan and Samuthirakani returning from the first film and the addition of power house actress Kajol. Dhanush is also co-producing the film and has written the story and dialogues for the film. The film is all set to release on July 28 and was simultaneously shot in Telugu.

On the Bollywood front, Kajol was last seen in the 2015 film Dilwale. She is now busy with her untitled home production. "My home production is starting. Hopefully, this year we should be starting in September-October and we might release it in 2018," she said.
